Date: Friday 3rd August

Time: 9am – 1pm (9am - 9:30 registration and refreshments; 9:30 formal start)

Venue: Gnome House, 7 Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow, London E17 6DS

Driven by LBWF's new corporate strategy, Creating Futures, and the Integrated Communities funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), Connecting Communities represents a new way of thinking about our borough’s priorities, how they can be addressed, and the role everyone can play in:

  • Improving life chances

  • Creating a better sense of community

  • Increasing integration across the whole borough

  • Responding more effectively to the evolving needs of a growing and changing borough

This represents a significant challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity. Building upon the recent consultation, we would like to use this event to meet with as many of you as possible and:

  • Talk about the principles that will guide our approach to delivering change;

  • Discuss local priorities and new ideas;

  • Discuss our proposed new delivery model;

  • Identify the long term aspirations for the programme;

  • Have lunch and share thoughts with each other.

LBWF believe Connecting Communities represents an opportunity to deliver a legacy that residents, the VCS and the council will benefit from for years to come – if you are interested in joining us and being part of it, please register by midday, 27/07/18.
